How to Enable Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) on HostGraber?

Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) adds an extra layer of protection to your HostGraber account. When enabled, you’ll be required to enter a unique code from your mobile device in addition to your password at login.


Step 1: Go to "Authentication" Settings

  • Log in to your HostGraber account.

  • Click on your profile icon at the top right corner.

  • From the dropdown menu, select "Authentication".

  • Navigate to the Security Settings panel.

Step 2: Begin the 2FA Setup

  • If 2FA is currently disabled, you will see the message:
    "Two-factor authentication is currently disabled."

  • Click the blue button labeled "Click here to Enable".

Step 3: Choose Authentication Method

  • A dialog box titled "Enable Two-Factor Authentication" will appear.

  • Select the option "Time-Based Tokens" to use apps like Google Authenticator or Duo.

  • Click on "Get Started".

Step 4: Connect Your App

  • A QR code will be displayed.

  • Open your preferred authentication app such as Google Authenticator .

  • Scan the QR code using the app.

  • Alternatively, manually enter the code displayed bellow the QR code.
  • Your app will begin generating 6-digit codes.

Step 5: Verify and Enable

  • Enter the 6-digit code from your authentication app in the input field.

  • Click "Submit" to complete the setup.

  • Upon successful verification, two-factor authentication will be activated for your account.
